Encrypt or Decrypt Activity Fields

This feature enhances OIPA capabilities to be able to Encrypt/Decrypt Activity fields and also capture encrypted information for processing purposes only which is deleted from the system post processing.

Transaction: EncryptDecrypt, new optional tags to field include:

  • <Encrypt> with optional attribute <ERASE>
  • <Decrypt>

Configuration Details

EncryptDecrypt is a new transaction created to showcase the feature capabilities under Dynamic Prototype Plan with the following fields:

  • ReceivableDueType : If this field has Encrypt = Yes and Decrypt = No, then the values will be stored and displayed as encrypted.
  • BillDueAmount: If this field would has Encrypt = Yes and Decrypt = Yes, then the values will be stored as Encrypted and the original/decrypted value is displayed.
  • ReceivableDueType2: If this field has Erase = Yes, while encrypted, then the value will be captured/stored temporarily and deleted immediately post processing.
  • ReceivableDueTypeMV: No math variables will be displayed on the screen.
